[/b] Slayer Abilities: While her Slayer empowered abilities are her most significant abilities in the eyes of the watcher’s countil she is far more than just a super strong girl with some psychic dreams, many of her strengths come from her personality and skills.
Leadership Skills: As a leader lily is able to relate to her rag tag team of misfits. Lily can keep a cool head under pressure and is able to truly see the big picture. She is capable of making tough, often controversial, decisions when they are needed.
Inspirational: She is extremely passionate. She is a great public speaker and is able to connect with every single person in a room; a quality she used to lead a lesser army to victory in eastern Europe.
Compassionate: She is not quick to get involved in a fight unless she is attacked. She would never kill a human or a demon simply trying to live a normal life.
Optimistic: While Lily is aware that a slayers life is often short and violent she has chosen to live every moment like it’s her last. She likes to enjoy herself as much as possible.
Studious: Lily is a very intelligent girl, she enjoys studying be it history or races of demons she will happily jump into a book.
Hatchet: Her weapon of choice is the heavy but extremely effective hatchet. She fell in love with the one handed axe after she killed her first vamp with one.
Will to live: Above all, Lily has a will to live which pushes her further. She wants to survive, to have children maybe get married. In her heart she will find a way to do so and pass on her Slayer’s legacy to the next slayer when the time comes.
WEAKNESSES
The Legacy: As a slayer she is destined to die and the mantle of slayer will pass to the next girl. While it’s not a physical weakness the thought is always in her mind that this could be her last.
Friends/Family: She goes out of her way to protect her friends and family from the evils of the world, so much so she moved to Europe. Unfortunately her new roommates became a surrogate family to which she has created as much of a connection with.
Magic: She doesn’t like it. Not one bit. While she trusts some magic users her general experience has been negative. She has almost no defence against magic users which puts her at a disadvantage when against them.
Compassionate: The watcher’s council believes her inability to kill certain free living demons a sign of weakness that could be taken advantage of.
Dancing: Prior to becoming a slayer, Lily was a dancer. While the athleticism and commitment of dancing have helped her in her combat training they have also led to a lack of a strong form and more emphasis on the grace of the movement that the final strike.
Men: Lily was a student of an all girls dancing academy, the only boy she really had in her life was her little brother until her Watcher came along. She can be shy around men.[/SIZE]

[/b] Lily is the first born child of Julia and Carl Walters, her childhood was relatively normal. She was a natural dancer, her mother said she could dance before she could talk, which is painfully apparent in her occasional bouts of tongue tied embarrassment, she started at a regular primary school before she was granted a scholarship to an elite academy of dance. While she still lived at home she would have to drive an hour each way to get to her school, she made very few friends at school however she was very close to her younger brother.

She continued to win her scholarship throughout her childhood and early teens. Her family were not poor however they would not be able to cope with astronomical fees for the academy. She showed a lot of potential, and was frequently show cased in the school’s annual performance. As she was one of three girls in the school on scholarship she never fully connected with the more upper class girls who filled the other slots, and the scholarship girls changed annually she was generally an outsider at school and when she was home the people in her neighbourhood believed she was a snob. If not for her younger brother she would have been truly alone.

She could tell you exactly when it happened, it was shortly before a performance, and she was getting dressed in a dressing room preparing to play Wendy in the Christmas Production of Peter Pan. She was overcome with nerves, her first starring role, her makeup was ready and her costume was ready. She didn’t want to go on stage, she overheard one of the rich girls complaining that she was a charity case only selected to be the lead because they wanted to show off a ‘poor girl’. She stood in the wings waiting for her musical cue when she felt it; an overwhelming feeling of strength like the butterflies in her stomach had turned to air as she stepped onto the stage fully confident of her skills and ability. The once challenging moves were a breeze; keeping solid form as she was lifted into the air was easy she couldn’t understand what had happened to her. Not until she fell asleep that night and began dreaming, visions of prior slayers flooded her sleep for the next month until she was finally recruited.

Her Watcher showed up one afternoon, posing as a casting director at the school. He took her to one side and explained her destiny, her purpose as the Slayer and her mission. She was hesitant to take up the offer but she understood she had no choice. She continued for another year staying in California attending her Academy and beginning training. She made a huge impact in California, first taking down a demonic crime lord in the City of San Francisco before stopping the plans of a demonic cult. When faced with college choices she was at a loss of ideas, she didn’t want to be around her family. A demon had once threatened them and Lily would never forgive herself for letting her family be harmed because of her duty.

Her Watcher offered her a fix, a move to London where they could take advantage of the resources of the Watcher’s Council and a mobile base where they could take on specific missions around Europe whilst completing her studies on the side. Lily jumped at the opportunity to see the world; after all she would not be able to do it forever. She bid a tearful farewell to her family before departing for Europe.

Once there she was met with great fanfare from the watcher’s council however they soon changed their tune when she showed a little sass, her Watcher fully encouraged her rebellions streak which further annoyed the council. However they couldn’t argue with her results. Lily made some great friends in her first year, her roommates were great and the lifestyle in London was great. She was occasionally sent on missions that took her from the country for weeks on end, leaving her flatmates suspicious of her. She eventually came clean to them after their home was attacked by a demon.

After her latest mission Lily vanquished a demonic overlord from a small eastern Europen country where he had gained political power. Lily successfully lead what some would call a suicide mission. She led a small army of demons in a battle that allowed her to gain access into his palace. Once inside armed only with a Hatchet she ended his regime. She was granted a leave of absence from the Watcher’s Council due to her bravery. She is currently making the most of her ‘time off’ unaware of what is sitting on her doorstep.

CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT As Lily is the slayer she’ll really be central in the plot moving forward. As the driving force of the plot will be the witch’s rivalry which she’ll have to act as an intermediate between the two whilst being one of the only people to notice the vampire uprising happening. There’s a lot of potential for romance, friendship and dozens of enemies that she can go up against.[/SIZE][/ul]
