-Research: Although not a magical gift, she can do this efficiaently and very well. After all she was a grad student.
-Spirit Summons: Karie can go and reach out to the spirits that has died and put them back in the living body to communicate with them for certain periods of time. This works under cirumstances and if her intentions are in the right place. She has no idea who this power actually came from but she imagine this to be one of the Witch Queen Katherine's powers
-Wards: Protective shields if you will, Karie can use it to defend herself just by gesture. She remembers a woman named Annlouise having the power when she was alive and now she can whield it too
Healing: This is a unique sort of healing she can cleanse and piurge people of both physical and psychological pain, Sasha had this power although she had been empowered by a Druid at the time, it basically has the nasty habit of letting Karie feel the pain before and during the healing process kind of like empathy healing if you will
Telepathy and Psychic Powers: Although she has her limits with this power Karie finds it quite useful, she can sense and communicate rarely sometimes with other people.
WEAKNESSES
Jer: She had fallen in love with him and his past life for that matter. She quite can't seem to get rid of him.
Knives: Although as a witch she has no choice but to use one, she tries to avoid it at all cost if she can help it since she's been killed twice before by knives and sharp objects
Hell: She went there when she died the first time around and than second time around burning with "white fire" she kinda shivers at the mentions of it she wants to go nowhere near it
Lack of Patience: they say patience is a virtue and she has none, Karie has the bad habit of acting on her impulses which got her killed the first time around
Nightmare Dream Time: Created by the Devereux warlocks, Karie believes that she has been sent there during either of her death experiance although no one can confirm or deny this.

-Peace: She has rarely found peace when she was involved in the coven war but she liked it and still likes it
Sasha Deveruex: Jer's mother who had been a mother figure to her within the Cathers Coven and who had treated her with kindness, she misses her badly.
Myth and Folklore: She liked it so much she majored it in college
Her deceased Covanents: Although now they are all deceased and she had been forced to befriend them all but now she misses them and she realizes she actually liked and even loved some of them, she is sad to see that they are not there anymore.
DISLIKES
Holly Cathers: The girl drowned a cat and took her boyfriend from her.
Remembering: This kind of bring her back to the fact that she had died twice so she really does not want to remember but she can't escape it.
Wars: She thought she didn't like the normal wars with guns and all but now she hates wars with a passion.
-Rude people: Holly was the primary example of rude and she still dosnt like that
Demons: Starting with sea creatures and ending with the Yaoi she has seen enough demons to last her a lifetime
Karie was an ambitious girl, a grad student who was first a studious girl but when she got together with Jer, she started to not too much care about her studies. She became more curious and inquisitive and perhaps because she was so much in love, she didn't like Holly in fact, to those that didn't know her she would've seemed Cold and even manipulative. She didn't like following Holly's rules, heck she didn't like rules in general and by the time the war had started it and she had gotten caught up in the middle she became more irritable and moody and more so after she lost Jer to Holly.
Now she's back in life and trying to be quiet and just live out her days quietly under the radar of everyone she had known if they are in fact alive that is. She hopes to see all of them again and she knows that they may or may not have been killed in that final battle she had also took part in but part of her also wants to just be ignorant. Her personality just differs, she's not really predictable anymore it just dpeneds on people and situations.

Karie is a reincarnation of the mistress of Jon Devereux's from 600 years ago. She is or was of french heritage and she had to be sent away so that her lover Jon can do what was meant for him to do, marry Isabo of the Cahore line and kill her in their marriage bed. She never stopped loving Jon but because of what Jon had to do, she couldn't be with him either. Jon was supposed to come for her though.
600 years later, the girl was reincarnated as Karie Hardwicke, a grad student who was going for a degree in folklore and mythology. There isn't much known about her family but there is something known about her social life. She fell in love was Jer the reincarnation of Jon, and they had dated for a year during the year, she had neglected her studies and instead gotten closer to Jer's mother without realizing so, forming an online bond with the woman, she let her know all about Jer and her relationship. They were quite close until Holly Cathers moved to Seattle and all of it changed. Jer fell out of love and fell in love with Holly, she lost him but perhaps the worst part about all that is that she fell into a coven war between the two fuedling magical family, a war that cost her life, twice.
She tried to be with Jer and recapture his interest not knowing that her grad school advisory Nigel had a thing for her. During this time she joined Jer in his coven, the Rebel Coven with a couple other friends aiding them until she lost contact with Jer what happened then was she joined the Cathers Coven which was headed by a powerful witch who would soon later touch dark and light. As a part of that coven, Karie went from a quiet grad girl trying to win her lover back to....well, in an utter chaos. Within two years time, she had seen too many people die to keep count, she had seen Holly steal her lover and than laugh about it but she had stayed loyal to them until Holly was possessed by Demons.
By this time, Karie had gotten freaked and left them, betraying the fugitive coven's whereabouts to Jer's father and their arch enemy Micheal things went from bad to worse when she was left there to die but miraculously she survived that incident. Most of the coven didn't trust her after that, people tolerated her of course but her first death came around shortly afterward when the Cathers Coven or rather the Tri Covenant attacked Supreme Coven, Karie had died during the middle of the battle when Jer, possessed by his long dead ancestor Jon, cut her throat and she possessed by the Cathers' dead Ancestress Isabo, let him.
Months later she came back so to speak from hell. But her grad advisory who had done the operation on her and who had thought he had made the dead live again actually hadn't. What he had done was made the dead WALK again, two separate things. She had cohereant thoughts but she was not able to put more than three or four words together in sentences. She found Amanda and Nicole Holly's cousins accompanied by a reanimated cat and his clone courtsey of her grad advisory. She spent days with them until she left again. The memories after that is a bluer and the only people that can remember that incident is probably dead. She had joined the final battle between the Cathers and the Devereux' though and she "died" again by having her head cut off by an evil witch queen Katherin of the Cahore family.
Now years and years later she's here again back on earth. Her business was not done apparently and the powers that be had given her a third chance at life a chance for her to help others and make the world a better place and without a coven war to deal with, she intends to do just that this time, aided by her knowledge and of course some powers she had gained during the final fight. If she can control these things that is.
CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT She will soon join the watcher's council and attempt to get her life back on track and shortly after that she will be involved in the coven war that's going on here although she won't want to she'll have no choice. She might and most likely will join Luna's Coven.

England did not hold good memories for her. She had died here, the first time around. She was just around the streets but this was where the now destroyed Supreme Coven lay in ruins. So many hours she and her fellow Covenants had walked the place as Holly Cathers as their leader. She was not too happy with the younger girl but she tried not to remember, not to think but with nothing to do and nowhere to go thinking was all she was doing these days.
She didn't know how or why and there was no one that could give her the response she wanted, she couldn't do a locater spell to save her life the only reason why she had realized she now had powerso was because...she had summoned. Spirit summoning she had heard about it from Joel's shop one night the night before the battle in the allyway or supposed battle. She had no memory, still, whatever deal Holly had made with her ancestress, it had ended the fight halfway. The only person who had been sacrificed had been Joel.
If Karie closed her eyes tight enough she could almost incision the fight herself. Almost but that was only because Holly had recounted the thing she couldn't remember on her own. Thinking about the summer or rather winter nights she spent here, she thought about Sasha and wanted to cry. The older witch had been kind to her more than anyone else had, she had given her guidance, encouragement and direction and now she didn't know if Sasha had survived the battle or not. She hadn't seen her in hell which was a good thing, that at least meant Sasha was not in pain and torment. That was good because she didn't deserve it.
Than she thought about why she was here, one minute she had been beheaded by Queen Katherin or was it by the evil wizard Merlin, even the real events she had been apart of was fuzzy these days but than again, she hadn't really been "there" she thought of her grad school adviser who now lay dead somewhere buried here she thought about going to House Moore the rule of not being invited in and getting killed wouldn't apply but first she had to get some sleep.
Throwing on her coat once more, not that she needed to, the newly revived witch walked along the streets of England as tired as she was, she knew though if she kept walking and not resting it would help her sleep at night without reliving or remembering. "Hey, whatever helps me sleep at night" she muttered.[/color]
