[Magic] First and foremost Eliza is a talented witch. She loves trying new things and experimenting with magic any chance she can. Being descended from witches is what gave her the powers that she has. She is highly skilled in spells and casting them and spends a lot of her time practicing.
[Training Background] Ever since she was a young child she has participated in sports such as dance and gymnastics which helped with flexibility and ability to do certain things. When she got a little older she started martial arts and is trained up to black belt in Judo, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Karate and Tae Kwon Do. When she isn't doing magic she is practicing her other training.
[Languages] She has a knack for learning and picking up on languages of all sorts. She took an early interest in learning languages and has since become fluent in many. She is fluent in Romanian, English, French, German, Spanish, Russian and Dutch and is currently learning Japanese, Chinese, Korean and Mandarin. For some reason her mind just processes languages really well.
[Caring] Eliza is one of the most caring people out there. She will go out of er way to help someone that she feels deserves the help. She enjoy being able to provide for people what they might not be able to provide for themselves. Normally she will try and spare someone's feelings unless she deems it better to le the truth hurt as it often does.
[Independent] Eliza mostly raised herself from a young age and learned really fast that people can be mean and the world can be cold. She learned to care for herself and not have to be dependent on others to provide for her. It wasn't a good childhood but it was one that made her stronger today.
[Mothering] Eliza tends to take to children very well and wants to provide for them in any way that she can. She loves to be around them and hopes to have her own someday. Her mothering instinct probably became so apparent due to her lack thereof in the mother department.
This could be a weakness as well but Eliza is very opinionated. If she feels something is right she will fight for it and she isn't afraid to speak her mind. She sometims comes off as an in your face type of person or sometimes a shy one, it just depends. But either way she isn't easily swayed from her opinions.
[Empath] Eliza has a special ability along with her witch powers. She is an empath, meaning she can sense the feelings of others. She is not powerful enough to change their emotions or change the emotions of a situation yet but she is working towards it. Right now she can just sense people's emotions and can feel what they are feeling, mentally at least.
WEAKNESSES
[Nightmares] Eliza suffers from horrible nightmares that make it very hard for her to sleep and make her not want to sleep. She has vivid flashbacks of the accident and the doctors tell her this is due to post traumatic stress syndrome and that it will get better with time, it hasn't yet. Most times she wakes up to her own screaming, drenched in sweat and crying.
[Physical Limits] She is only human despite being a witch and has no special abilities physically. But being herself she pushes her body to it's limits and sometimes that isn't a good thing. She doesn't go to the doctors for pain but instead pushes through it. Some think her body can't hold up to the stress she places on it, and maybe they are right.
[Scars] She doesn't like to show people her scars. The scars lead to the story and the story leads to tears. She doesn't like to cry and doesn't feel that people need to know all about her life. Some secrets are best left untold.
[Alone] Eliza has no family, no one at all and that makes her vulnerable. She has no one to go to when she is in trouble, no one to turn to in times of need. It makes her a target as well because people with no family have no one to ask questions if something should happen to them.
[Over-Zealous] Eliza doesn't know when to stop sometimes and will keep on going until it seriously hurts her or someone else. She sometimes just loses her focus and gets so into what ever it is that she is doing that she doesn't realize she should have given up a long time ago.
[Closed Off] Eliza has set up barriers around her heart and around her mind. It is rare that she will let someone in and usually she holds people at arms length not wanting them to know her, who she is, what she has been through. It will take a very special person to be able to break down her barriers and see the innocent girl that lies beneath, the girl she hides.
[Innocent] Eliza has been through a lot but at the same time she still holds onto her innocence. There are a lot of things in life that she has seen and a lot of things that she has not. Maybe a little naive at times as well but she holds her own and is able to avoid most trouble.

Elizabeth Rhoslyn Vatican didn't exact have the story book childhood that some people get to have. Her life started out normal enough though. She was the first and only child born to Julia and James Vatican in Romania. They had tried for years and never succeeded but finally they had Eliza and deemed her their miracle child. Things were well for the family and Eliza was raised as any spoiled little girl would be raised. She had the best opportunities for schooling and for anything else she wanted. Everything seemed to be going great for the family up until Eliza turned eight years old.
One night the family was driving home from a movie night when a drunk driver swerved into their lane and slammed into them head on. Eliza was the only survivor of the accident and her ilfe changed forever after that night. She woke up two months later in a hospital bed dazzed and confused. Her memory of the accident was scattered at best and she couldn't remember much about anything really. The doctors told her that she had been in a car accident, that she had come close to dieing. She had shattered her left arm which was no held together with plates and screws until it healed all the way, she had broken three ribs, collapsed and punctured her right lung and suffered severe head damage. The doctors didn't expect her to even survive surgery nonetheless come out of the coma she had been in, but she did. After the accident she refused to talk about it, even though she remembered it in flashes here and there. She was put into therapy which did nothing for her anyway. The once talkative and happy little girl became dark and unspoken, rarely saying a single word. Her eating habits became eratic and she ate only very little on a very irregular basis. After trying but not succeeding to help her the doctors decided it was time for her to elave the hospital and she how she would cope outside.
After she was realsed from the hospital she went to an orphanage, having no other family that would take her in. While there she started learning different ypes of martial arts from a teacher down the road, he would give her lessons in exchange for her help around his place, cleaning and such. The martial arts helped strengthen her now weaker left arm and helped build up her stamina. Her natural talent was enough to warrent the teacher continuing her training but at a faster rate than most other kids. When she was ten she realized she could sense the emotions of others, right around this same time she started casting raw spells, not on purpose though. They mostly happened wehn she was angry and was something she could not control.
After her eleventh birthday she ran away from the orphanage and found refuge with some other street kids. While out on the streets she stole some books on witchcraft and started learning more about what she had been experiencing the year before. She wanted to know more and to do more, to control it, so she started practicing when the other kids weren't around. She continued her witchcraft and continued her martial arts the whole time she was on the streets. She only stayed there for one year before the martial arts yeacher allowed her to stay in a spare room at the martial arts school. She lived with him up until she was almost eighteen. He put her through schooling and when she graduated she thanked him and was gone.
Wanting to search out her family roots and discover more about herself she began looking for connections to her family name. She found her last name in a family tree type book and researched all the way back to her great great grandmother whom had been a part of some witch cult called the Magi's Fist. Wondering what it was and wanting to know more she decided to travel to the Magi's Fist, she decided to travel right to London and land herself in the middle of a war she had no idea was even raging. She hasn't gotten involved yet but has instead watched from the sidelines and started going to college.
CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT
I plan on having Eliza eventually joining the Magi's Fist, really she is just another powerful witch that wants to know more about the craft and where she came from. She thinks the Magi's Fist is where she belongs and hope they can help her. For now she will be going to college and making friends. She will eventually join the fght though and with her background should be pretty useful I think.

"From a different site but my style is usually the same. Hope this works :]
The store was pretty empty, a few people here and there with their adorable little kids. Couples with toddlers, pregnant women with their men and by themselves. It was saddening for someone like Eliza that wanted nothing more in the world than to live her own life and have a family that loved her in return. It was then that she heard two rather young and high pitched voices begging for the attention of someone older, a brother or father maybe? Eliza didn't bother to pay much attention to the matter, she turned slightly at first and saw the back of a rather large boy holding two toddlers or young children, twins probably. Eliza was just about to turn and leave when she heard a voice behind her.
English was her third language so it didn't come that easily to her, she had to really think before she spoke sometimes. She had only been in the United States for a week as it was. In a thick Romanian accent she turned to him and looked up, he was very tall, towering over her five foot seven inch frame. What kind of help do you need? she asked rolling the english words off her tounge like they were difficult to speak. As a young girl she had learned Romanian first and then French because they were similar. Before her mother died she had started learning Latin, German and Russian but after the death her father cancelled her tutors and put her to work in the house.
Eliza hoped she would be able to help this stranger at least a little. He looked like he was at his wits ends trying to control the two children, one of whom wouldn't stop pulling his hair and the other was talking like a motorboat, a million miles a minute about some show. Eliza couldn't help but giggle, she remembered helping raise the children in her household, not all of whom had made it into later life like her and her sister. In total Eliza had one older brother that was deceased, a younger sister that was here in Foxford with her, two younger half brothers that were in Romania still and another younger sister that had died at only three years of age. It was odd letting this stranger see her face though, for the past four years of her life she had worn a mask, that was the law in Romania. Anyone over fourteen and unmarried must wear a mask when in the presence of anyone except her immediate family. Here she was just a normal girl...well trying to be one."
