Walking into the Kings College Union Bar, he looked around at all of the people pleasantly enjoying the relaxing atmosphere which was generally provided outside of classes. He could understand that, he really could. He had bombarded himself with not only the core work, but extra work. He was behind based on his previous schooling year. He was lucky to have even got accepted into this university, which was on the grounds of special consideration. Was his parents and sister dying all within a year consideration enough? add to the fact that he was forced to relocate, and nearly drowned, which unfortunately he had to keep to himself for suspicious reasons. He was trying to stay under the radar, not create an even bigger one around him for all to observe.
He had been studying hard all of this week to learn the content and remain up to date, but he felt he deserved a Friday night to relax and enjoy himself. It really wasn't something he was able to do in a long time, and he felt like he was entitled to one night off dwelling on the past and studying. Though apparently now, he could add being attacked by vampires of his past. Yep, he definantly deserved a night out. And if there was any bit of life of the previous Alexandre, when his sister was alive, still within his fibres, then he would live up the night as well as he could. Just because he was burdened with some curse of a destiny didn't mean he had to drop everything and live up to that. He didn't live up to it anyway, but would make sure tonight it didn't become a burden on his chance at fun either.
Walking up to the bar, he smiled softly to greet the bartender, before ordering a beer and processing the payment. He nodded as a thanks, before taking his first sip of the beer. Boy, it tasted great. So cold, refreshing and made his body feel like there was new life within it, or something. He did miss the taste of beer, he really did. He would try his hardest to make his way to this area of the uni as much as possible. Think of it as a reward. If he does all of his studying, he gets a night to enjoy himself. Now he was sounding like a parent...To himself?
Finding an empty stool around the bar, he sat down at it, placing the beer on the bar mat, and looking around at the people having fun. He did feel alone, but he did like that also. He was content with not joining in the pool matches, skulling beers with friends or playing spin the bottle in the corner. He was content with enjoying the night by taking it all in, and drinking some beer. He really missed beer!

Caleb was not content to always be the good scoobie the one hiding in plain sight right in the slayers own house, no he needed his time to get out and relax. He needed to get out and not be the perfect little helper for the slayer to do her job, more like a guys night even if he was going to be the only guy, he needed to be in a place where he did not have to hide his true power. After all he did not want the slayer to know all the eggs that were lying in his basket, no having her think he was human or a human who dabbled in a little magic was enough for him.
He got up and he left his house, casting a spell so that he was untraceable, he had his many tricks up his sleeve to make sure that if he was ever going anywhere that he was going to be himself or meet up with his father, he wanted it where the slayer or her pet witch could not find her. After all he knew only one witch in the world could potentially crack his spells and to be honest she did not have enough knowledge to even sense when a spell was being activated let alone sense every strand of it and unravel it and no modern witch had a hope at it, only a witch that practiced the old art like the Magi's Fist or Luna's Circle had a hope at it.
He headed to the bar where he wanted to get a stiff drink, he walked into the room, his senses picked up a couple of weak demons in the corner muttering about their luck. How they were lesser demons in a town where there were two slayers and "THE ASSASSIN". He just smiled at that, he knew who they were talking about, they were talking about him. He was the assassin, he took special care that he either killed or enspelled anyone who learned who he was. One of his greatest assets was that only the Fist knew what he did and he could go and do anything and do his job without anyone realizing it was him.
He walked up to a bar where a man was sitting and he took a seat and ordered himself a drink. Hello fine fellow, how does it go
